Scope of Work:
Scope contractor shall carry out the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and related services for a new Light Gas Oil (LGO) tank and associated system.
Background:
The demand of LGO in state of Qatar has been growing at a very high rate since year 2001. Since the demand of LGO has increased drastically, the quantity of LGO to be stored as strategic stock has also been increasing. Also, QP refinery is importing LGO for meeting the high local demand, which requires refinery to maintain sufficient ullage to facilitate smooth import activity as well as to provide sufficient operating flexibility for storing LGO produced in refinery units. To take care of this demand, an additional LGO storage is required.
The objective of this project is to provide one new LGO storage tank having storage capacity of 44900 m3 together with its associated facilities at QP refinery.
