Scope of Work:
The OGDCL company invites bids for carrying out 3D seismic data acquisition survey to enhance its productivity through drilling more wells at appropriate locations. The target geological formations in the area are Lockhart Lime stone, Lamshiwal sand stone, Smanasuk Lime stone and Data S. stone from Paleocene to Jurassic age. The total work programme is about 518.4 sq. Kms.
The Mela-Chanda 3D project falls in District Mianwali and Attock of Punjab Province and District Kohat and North Waziristan Agency of NWFP. The area comprises of three subsurface structures namely, Chanda, Mela and Bragai.
It is planned that the acquisition will start from the southern part (Chanda area) of the Project.
The mode of operations will be dynamite/ vibroseis.
