Scope of Work
1- Upgrade the existing GDS SCADA (Gas Distribution System) (supervisory control and data acquisition) with state-of-the-art technology to improve availability, reliability and overall system response in performing it's monitoring, control, communications and safeguarding.
2- Segregate the present Emergency Shut Down Protection (ESD) functions from process PLC and transfer ESD functions to SIL-3 rated new safety PLC's inline with the company corporate philosophy for Fire & Safety (QP-PHL-S-001).
3- Carry out limited upgrade on the fire & gas systems for the GDS stations.
