Dehydration and Desalting Unit

Scope of Work
Noor oil field is one of important crude oil fields within the company responsibility. It is located at about 10km northeast Amara city. This field is partially developed & the existing production facilities (degassing station – one bank) (40000 bopd) design capacity. The company intends to develop this field up to production rate of 40000 bopd during the next two years, due to expected wet crude oil produced later on. The company intends to install a new dehydration & desalting unit to treat crude oil with a capacity of 40000 bopd, including & not limited to:
- Two indirect water bath heaters, each heater with capacity of 40000(bopd).
- Complete dehydrator, with top mounting degasser with all accessories.
- Complete desalter with top mounting degasser with all accessories.
- Process equipment electrical system including PMCCS inters connecting cabling and accessories.
- Complete package of control system local and remote.
- Interconnecting piping sys. Including valves & fittings and accessories.
- Process pumps such as fresh water pumps (2*100%) & recycle pump (2*100%).
- A complete effluent water treatment system friendly environment type taking into consideration that the plant located at water flooded area drained to Water River & marsh. The unit should be contained two skimmed oil pumps & two effluent water pumps & filtering system to get clear water to be drained to a decantation pit.
- A complete set of drainage system, with a suitable pump with all accessories.
- A complete sets of chemical system (demulsifier & anti corrosion system & anti foaming system)
The scope of work required covering design, engineering details, procurement of equipment and materials, delivery of equipment and materials. The unit shall be designed for 40000-bbl/d dry crude basis. Vessels prefabrication shall be carried outside the country.
Scope of work also include details of design vessels fabrication drawings and hook up drawing, ISO metrics drawing, construction and commissioning procedures, . etc. It shall include performance guarantees and equipment / materials guarantee for 12 months after provisional acceptance.
