Scope of Work
The services shall mainly consist of but not limited to the following:
1- Supply up to twenty diesel driven welding generators and ten welding transformers with all accessories (inclusive to welding & earthing cables, earthing lugs & electrode holder, connection sockets for 240 V power supply to hand grinders, fire extinguisher, etc., and the ELCB) to carry out welding works in the Refinery site, Mesaieed as follows: The company Refinery at Messaeid, the company Refinery Berth No. 6 & pipe lines from Mesaieed to Berth No. 6 and Doha Depot.
2- Estimated capacity of diesel driven welding generator and welding transformer are as follows:
Diesel driven welding generators. 400Amps, fitted with spark arrestors and fault protection, fitted with 2 no's 32 Amp, 240 Volt outlet sockets to fit standard plug, complete with 50 meters of welding cable and 10 meters of earth cable, welding electrode holder, earthing lug. Welding transformers. 600 Amp welding Transformers, complete with 50 meter of welding and 10 meter of earth cable. (Inclusive are welding & earthing cables, earthing lugs & electrode holder)
3- Contractor shall supply up to five mobile diesel driven air compressors with proper air connections, without operators, at any given time with capacity of 600 CFM, fitted with spark arrestors and fire extinguishers.
4- Contractor shall supply up to five no's four wheel drive mobile forklifts with capacity of five ton at any given time, fitted with spark arrestors and fire extinguishers. The forklifts, without operators, have to be load tested and certified by QP's QA department prior to delivery.
