Scope of Work
Supply of pipeline surge relief system to protect the existing (32’’) slow crude oil pipeline.
A- Control system specifications:
Electronic control panel accommodate at non hazardous area for controlling the action of the a/m relief valve around the set values of both static pressure (p max) and the dynamic pressure through pressure transmitter (4-20) ma signal surge rate (?p/?t.) for the cases:
1- Excess of pressure over the maximum allowable set
2- Dynamic excess of pressure (shock waves)
3- Quick changes in pressure (shock waves). The rate time setting (? p/?t) = 5 bar/sec.
