Scope of Work
Evaluation and optimization study of cathodic protection system installed on pipelines at various locations throughout the field. The study includes survey of the field, collection of data, computerization of data, specialized cp surveys including soil resistivity, ground bed location and Direct Current Voltage Gradient (DCVG) and Close Interval Potentials (CIP) surveys for all buried pipelines protected by CP system and submission of report for up gradation of existing CP system. The existing cathodic protection system in the field, which is 20-30 years old, comprises 17 impressed current stations, which are designed to protect the buried pipe works through a complex network of bonding.
