Retubing of Air Cooler Tube Bundles

Scope of Work
Contractor shall supply all materials (except those listed as the company supplied material), labor, services, supervision, equipment, transport, vehicles, tools, consumables and each and every item of expense necessary to undertake the re-tubing of five (5) numbers of air cooler tube bundles 1109C1-C5 at the company Refinery all in accordance with drawing, which shall include but not limited to the following:
- Procurement and supply of new extruded finned tubes (1,455 nos) including all accessories (i.e. Ring spacers= 8,730 nos.) to replace old ones.
- Collection of tube bundles from the company refinery and transport to contractor's workshop.
- Cutting and removal of existing finned tubes, Internal cleaning of headers, Carry out header plates thickness measurement, Inspection of all tube holes in headers, Weld repair and machine wherever required.
- Welding/machining of damaged plug female threads in headers/to be done in accordance with the company approved welding procedures.
- Insertion of new finned tubes with new ring spacers.
- Tube to tube sheet joint expansion/rolling at required torque values.
- Plugs installation with all new plug gaskets at required torque values.
- Perform Hydrostatic test as per ASME code Sec. VIII div. 1 at required test pressure with pressure and temperature record.
- Draining of all water and drying out of tubes.
- Internal preservation for long term storage with positive Nitrogen pressure and installation of valve and pressure gauge.
- Final painting touches up of header boxes as per the company painting specifications.
- Epoxy protection on unfinned area of finned tubes.
- Provision of Third Party Inspection (TPI) to inspect services as per Inspection and Test Plan as provided by contractor and approved by the company.
- Submission of final documentation: a) Third Party Inspection reports (b) Materials data sheets/certificates Transportation back of re-tubed bundles to the company refinery after completion of the re-tubing at contractor's workshop.
