Slit Trenching Works for Projects

Scope of Work
The Services comprise provision of necessary tools, equipment & plant and manpower to carryout soil investigations and slit trenching works as and when required by the Company in South, East, West, and North the country fields and Mina Al Ahmadi Area, and/or any other locations within the Company’s operation areas and the supply of the manpower as and when required and directed in respect of engineering and administrative activities within the Company which may be related to any other of the Company’s projects, all as more particularly described in the Contract and summarized below:
1. Manual excavation of exploratory slit trenches of specified dimensions for identification of existing underground services, as where and when directed by the Company. Backfilling and compaction of the excavated trenches after identification of the underground services.
2. Manually excavate test pits of specified dimensions as elaborated in the Technical Specification as where and when directed by the Company. Backfill the same in compacted layers after inspection of the test pits by the Company.
3. The Company shall instruct the Contractor, when the slit trenching works are required to be executed through written order (“Service Order”).
