Provision of Perlite Filling Services
Reference: ITT/RG18/S010/11 6/23/2011, Location: Middle East

Scope of Work
- The scope of services is to provide the company with the required services to carry out the Perlite top-up/filling of all 5 tanks. The Perlite top-up/filling activities shall be carried out in the live plant as per the company safety procedures at LNG Tank Area in RasLaffan Industrial City for the following 5 LNG tanks (RasGas may add any other tank to the below list based on the its operational conditions and needs)
a. TANK NO. 71-T001
b. TANK NO. 71-T002
c. TANK NO. 71-T003
d. TANK NO. 71-T051
e. TANK NO. 71-T052
f. TANK NO. 71-T053 (optional)

- Contractor scope of services for filling of expanded perlite insulation under this contract shall include, but not be limited to the following:
1. Provision of a clear and detailed method statement for Perlite Filling Procedure to be reviewed and approved by RasGas prior to commencement of Services.

2. Supply of skilled qualified Manpower and all specialized perlite filling topup crew to perform the services of the LNG tanks. Only Suitably trained and experienced operatives shall carry out the required Services.

3. Provision of all required perlite insulation material to perform the services. All the material shall be supplied in accordance with the specification.

4. Provision of all the required equipments and tools to perform the services including but not limited to:
- Perlite filling hopper
- Flexible suction hose
- Poly valve
- Nitrogen hose with connectors
- Valves and gauges

5. Provision of all the necessary consumables to perform the Services.

6. Contractor shall follow the company safety Policy and Procedure through out activity at site.

7. STORAGE OF PERLITE MATERIAL:
- Contractor shall ensure that the perlite insulation provided in accordance with sub-clause 2.2.3 to be stored in dry place. Avoidance of creating dust and maintaining good housekeeping practice.
- Contractor shall ensure the perlite material consists of expanded granular and stored neatly at the site location to prevent any moistures.
- Contractor shall ensure the expanded perlite to be supplied in 50 kgs bags and will be shifted to tank pump platform by cranes / lifting cage nets.


Contract Duration: 24 months from the effective date of the contract.
