Scope of Work
The Vessel shall be designed and constructed as a modern azimuth stern drive (ASD) Multi Purpose Vessel completely outfitted and equipped to undertake back flushing operation, maintenance of SPM cargo hoses, offshore support operations such as maintenance diving, lifting / maintenance of navigational buoys and to supply fresh water and fuel oil to remote areas and other vessels.
The Vessel shall also be able to perform harbour and offshore fire fighting, combat oil pollution, short towing, emergency evacuation of sick / injured personnel and other related duties in the area around State of Kuwait and the Arabian Gulf.
The Vessel shall have Dynamic Positioning (DP) capability (as per class notation supplied). The Vessel shall be designed and fully equipped to carry and handle back flushed oil and recovered oil having flash points at or below 60ºC.
The Vessel shall be designed for unrestricted duties and shall be able to perform its functions on twenty-four (24) hours per day basis.
The Vessel shall be able to hold station and operate unrestricted at the following environmental conditions:
a) Wind velocity: 20.50 m/s (40 Knots)
b) Significant wave height: 2.40 meters (8 ft)
c) Current: 1.01 m/s (2 knots)
d) Wave period: 5.5 – 7.3 seconds
