Scope of Work
The Scope of the EPIC contract is to prepare a detailed design for relocation of the Common Seawater Facility (CSF) Control Room, from ground floor to first floor of the existing control building, and to execute the relocation works including; detailed engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing and commissioning works.
The scope comprises extension / upgrade of the existing training room to create a new CSF Control Room including addition of a new VIP entrance to the Control room, comprising of a new escape stair, VIP elevator and upgrade of the existing ground floor entrance area to VIP standards. The upgrade of the existing training room also includes Civil, Architectural, Building Services, Telecom/LV, Loss Prevention systems and Instrumentation works. Existing control equipment will be relocated from the ground floor to the new CSF control room on the first floor where new control consoles and new monitors will be provided and connected/interfaced with the existing systems.
