Scope of Work
The company owns and operates a Refinery at Mesaieed, 35 Kms away from Doha city in the state of Qatar. , The objective of this contract is to avails the Services of a highly professional experienced contractor having vast experience in Management and Planning of Turnaround shutdowns of Oil and Gas Plants in order to undertake the coming Planned Turnaround Shutdowns Management Consultancy which tentatively will be conducted in first half of year 2013 [Phase 1] and first half of year 2014 [Phase 2] for the Crude Refinery, RFCC, Condensate and related Utilities at QP's Refinery, Mesaieed (hereinafter referred to as 'services').
Scope of services, except as expressly provided otherwise herein, contractor shall provide requisite expertise for the management and planning of Turnaround shutdowns of Oil and Gas Plants. Contractor shall as part of his obligations under the contract reports directly to QP representative or his assignee, to carry out analysis study of the current process of managing, planning, controlling shutdowns. , Contractor shall recommend and apply the best practice in the process of shutdown preparation, planning, follow up and control (before and during the planned turnaround shutdown works execution) and shutdown close out in order to minimize the plant turnaround duration and optimize the cost of shutdown.
Contract duration for the services shall be as follows: Thirty six (36) calendar months from the effective date. The objective on this contract is to have external consultancy (Turnaround management consultant) to carry out analysis study for the current process of managing, planning, controling shutdowns as well as to recommend and apply the best practice in the process of shutdown preparation, planning, follow up and control (before and during the shutdown works execution) and shutdown close out in order to minimize the plant turnround duration and optimize the cost of shutdown. The consultant should be qualified and experienced to evaluate and guide.
