Scope of Work
Approximately 20.90 kilometers of perimeter industrial security fence shall be installed along the new RLIC southern fence line. This comprises of the removal and reinstallation of existing fencing, along with the installation of new fencing as follows:
1. Relocation of approximately 2.22 kilometers of the existing chain link mesh along with barbed wires, Y supports, double coiled barbed tapes and razor tapes. Posts and diagonal braces shall be replaced with new ones.
2. Relocation of approximately 6.350 kilometers, of the existing chain link mesh only. Posts, diagonal braces, barbed wires, Y supports, double coiled barbed tapes and razor tapes shall be replaced with new ones.
3. Relocation of the existing palisade fence measuring approximately 147 metres. Posts, barbed wires, Y supports, double coiled barbed tapes and razor tapes shall be replaced with new ones.
4. Relocation of the existing demountable fence on top of the berm of NFA gas pipeline.
5. After relocation of item 2 above, installation of new chain link fence for remaining segment of fence, to the new location of demountable partition at the berm of the NFA gas pipeline.
6. Provide and install five (5) numbers of new demountable fence on top of berm of pipelines crossing the proposed perimeter industrial security fence line.
7. An existing bund of fill material is located on the western side of Ras Laffan Avenue, which is approximately 5 to 6 meters away from the proposed southern fence line. Shift this fill material to approved location within RLC.
8. New palisade fence, approximately 1.60 kilometers, along the western side of Ras Laffan Avenue. Posts, diagonal braces barbed wires, Y supports, double coiled barbed tapes and all other fence elements shall be new one.
9. RLIC power corridor with live 11kV cable is passing through the line of the proposed perimeter industrial fence, along the western side of Ras Laffan Avenue at Police Station underpass.
10. New chain link fence, measuring approximately 8.80 kilometers, on the eastern side of Ras Laffan Avenue
11. The proposed fence on the eastern side of Ras Laffan Avenue is crossing through an old borrow pit as shown on Topographic survey drawings in Attachment F.
12. An existing TSE drying pad is located on the eastern side of Ras Laffan Avenue, which is approximately 3 to 4 meters away from the proposed eastern fence line.
13. New 6m wide swing gate (double leaf) on roller and running on rails, to be installed for entry to RLIC from eastern side of police station, in alignment with existing road.
