Scope of Work
Proposed facilities are envisaged at port gates PG 01 & 02 include the following:
1.Modification of existing outbound carriageway.
2.Inspection area comprising of truck parking, shaded car parking, paved walkways and access roads.
3.Control room building accommodating control room, electrical room, pantry and toilet with associated building services.
4.Chain link perimeter fence and gates for inspection yard.
5.Raised road kerb along the new traffic lane.
6.Road markings and road signs for the modified carriageway.
7.Storm water drainage for the roads and inspection area.
8.Modification of existing TCB on verge, along outbound carriageway
9.Provision of rub rails for the protection of radiation and nuclear materials monitoring equipment.
10.Electrical boom barriers on three outbound lanes.
11.High mast area lighting for inspection yard.
12.Extension of existing LV Power distribution system to cover all new electrical installations/ equipment, including tie-ins.
13.Extension of utility infrastructure such as potable water, sewage network, telecom and fire alarm network, including tie-in works, water tanks and sewage holding tank.
14.Modification of existing soft landscaping, including the irrigation system.
15.Protection of existing services.
