Scope of Work
The company invites sealed tenders from eligible candidates from Kenya and/or International, for the provision of 2D Seismic Data Acquisition Services at the block. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, personnel, consumables and complete project management for the acquisition and processing of the 2D seismic survey and data processing. The Work shall include maintaining and operating one complete vibrator, portable land 2D seismic reflection crew capable of providing National Oil with high-quality 2D seismic data.
The proposed survey area, approximately 6,000 km2 in area, is located in a hilly area generally at a height of 600m – 1,800m, approximately 100 kilometers west of Nairobi. There is the lake of Magadi in the southern end of the survey area. Roads are not well developed and only a few roads are available for four wheels drive vehicles.
