Bid For Exploration RFP-2055 and Production (9 open blocks in Syria)

The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources invite International Oil Companies for submitting offers to explore oil and gas in Syria under production sharing agreements in nine (9) open blocks covering a total area of 65000, Sq. Km are selected. The selected potential blocks are located in different petroleum basins where the expected undiscovered petroleum resources are very high. (V-VII- IX - XI - XIII - XV - XVI - XIX - XXI)
1- International oil companies are invited to evaluate the potentialities and to submit offers for one or more blocks, individually or in association with others.
2- The following facilities will be ready for review at Exploration Department in S.P.C.:
A- Technical summary for each block of the open blocks (Promotional brochures).
B- Main contractual terms and conditions (draft contract Project).
C- Data room for G & G studies for evaluation to be made by the interested companies.
3-In case the interested company requests for a copy of available data, this can be obtained against the payment of an amount according to the price list approved by SPC.
4-Before or upon submitting offers, from non - operating companies in Syria and not already qualified companies, shall be supported by documents stating the technical and financialqualifications according to the approved qualification form.
5-The offer should contain the technical and financial obligations and Commercial conditions and terms for exploring and developing oil and gas discoveries according to the pattern available in the data room.
6-All offers shall be submitted within a sealed envelope to be entitled and registered at the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources under the title "Offers for (9) Blocks ".
7-Closing date is Tuesday 20 December , 2005 at 14.00 O'clock at the end of official working time.
8-Any offer received after the closing date will be rejected.
