Modification of Fuel Oil Tanks Project, that requires the modification of the existing storage tanks in Aqaba Thermal Power Station, which consists of seven fuel oil storage tanks, each with a nominal capacity of (42000) cubic meters (fixed roof type), it is required to separate five storage tanks from the above mentioned storage tanks and modify three of them to be open top floating roof type able to store crude oil instead of the fuel oil, where some of the storage tanks auxiliary systems should be modified, and other new auxiliary systems should be equipped to these five storage tanks if needed, complete with all required civil, mechanical, electrical and instruments works related to the project.
This is invitation for potential Tenderers who possess experience in the required field and are qualified financially and technically, and who wish to participate in the above tender to execute the above project as Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract.
In order to be considered in the tender evaluation process, potential Tenderers must succeed in initial pass or fail qualification as part of the tendering process. The minimum qualification criteria are:-
1- Evidence of successful completion (or substantial completion) of at least two contracts of similar nature, complexity and size as of the above Project within the last ten years.
2- Evidence of sufficient experience in crude oil tanks construction, commissioning and maintenance gained during the last ten years.
3- Candidates proposed for key management positions for the project shall have at least five years experience in management positions of similar project.
The tender documents complete with qualification form can be obtained from 11th September, 2005,
against a fee of USD 1000 or Jordanian Dinar JD 710.
Tenders should be submitted at or before (12:00) hours Jordan local time on 16th November 2005.
