Location: Contracts Dept. - Operations Division, Qatar Petroleum, PO Box 3212, Royal Plaza, G Wing, 4th Floor Rm G13, Doha.
Scope of Work:
1. Removal of 12 & 24 inch pipelines decommissioning, demolition, removal and reinstatement of the onshore sections of the abandoned 12" Condensate and 24" offshore associated gas pipelines; from Wakrah Station to NGL 2 plant at Mesaieed. The length of each pipeline section is approximately 28 Kilometers.
The work activities shall include, but not to be limited to, the isolation and decommissioning of pipelines sections, cutting and removal of entire sections including related pig Launcher/Receiver, Block Valves, 6" Nitrogen spur line to NGL/3 and Cathodic Protection Stations, transportation of all removed elements to locations designated by QP either to third party for recycling or to QP for re-usage, and ground restoration of pipelines corridors with associated stations. The work shall involve the provision and removal of temporary works facilities at Wakrah Station and NGL 2 Plant with all necessary connections to pipeline sections, for carrying out the de-commissioning of the pipelines such as; Evaporation Pond, Isolated Cold/Hot Flare, Isolated Burn Pit and Isolated Hydrocarbon Waste Collection & Storage Tanks.
2. Removal of 10, 8 & 18 inch pipelines this scope of work shall describe the activities to be carried out for the demolition and removal of the following pipelines and piping sections as listed below:
10" crude oil pipeline section from station L to station H (3.5Km).
10" crude oil pipeline section from station L to station G (14Km).
Related 10" piping removal at stations L, H & G up to battery limits.
All other related associated piping at stations L, H & G up to battery limits.
8" redundant crude oil pipeline and 18" redundant gas pipeline sections from Station D outside the security fence of process area on the west side up to Ras Abu Aboud power station outside the security fence (1 Km).
The work activities shall include, but not to be limited to, the isolation and decommissioning of the pipelines sections, cutting and removal of entire sections including related Pig Launchers/Receivers arrangement and related associated piping up to the battery limits at stations L, H & G, transportation of all removed elements to locations designated by QP and ground restoration of pipelines corridors with associated stations. The work shall involve the provision and removal of temporary piping and facilities works at Stations L, H & G with all necessary.
