Scope of Work:
Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) intends to install scour protection as remedial works of the undercut jetty of the Mina Al Fahal Harbour. The scope of the remedial Works Package is summarized as follows:

1. Provision of repairs of the scour cavities at the foot of the existing quay wall by means of grout fill.
2. Dredging of existing seabed materials for the installation of the scour protection and additional dredging to a level -3.0 M CD of the seabed where the water depth has been reduced due to sedimentation.
3. Installation of a toe block together with an interlock system of precast concrete blocks resting on a preplaced filter rock layer.
