Scope of Work:
Pipeline carbon steel API spec. 5l PSL2 E, longitudinally submerged ARC welding (LSAW) pipe beveled ends according to API standard latest edition (30 degree (+5 degree, -0 degree)).
The pipe shall be externally coated with 3 mm (as a minimum) extruded polyethylene high density and should be according to DIN standard 30670.
The length of pipe shall be (DRL) but not less than 10 meter protective end rings and marking according to API standard.
1- Supply of 90000 m API 5L 42’’ X 0.438’’ X 60 PSL2:
Heat shrinkable sleeve joints for coating of girth welds with specifications identical (as a minimum) to those of pipe coating of open type and capable to stored at (0-60)°c.
Heat Shrinkable Sleeve (H.S.S.) shoud be supplied with all accessories and requirements.
2- Supply of # 8500 heat shrinkable sleeve 42’’:
Heat shrinkable sleeve width should be suitable for bare distance of pipe ends with overlap with the pipe coating not less than 2 inches from each side.
The expiry date of materials of items 2 shall note be less than 3 years after arrival Um-Qasser.
The supplied plate manufacturer should be form West European, USA, Japan, South Korea and to be accepted to S.O.C.
