Scope of Work:
Polish Oil & Gas Company (POGC) LIBYA B.V. intends to pre-qualify Supplier/Manufacturer offering Rock Bits (as per API SPEC 7-1). This pre-qualification process is for preparation of the request to provide competitive proposals for the provision of Rock Bits for maximum planned (8) onshore exploration wells in Murzuq basin of Libya. The expected delivery date is February 2010.
Supplier/Manufacturer must specify the following information:
- Name & Place of the supplier/manufacturer, registration details and address,
- Details of Ownership/Corporate Organization,
- Supplier’s authorization for distributing manufacturer products.
- Routine Controls carried out during production,
- Submission of experience records in similar supplies for others Oil & Gas companies,
- Product quality certificates (API SPEC 7-1) valid minimum to April 2011,
- Supplier/Manufacturer most warranty the delivery of brand new Rock Bits produced between year 2009-2010,
- Pre-qualification questionnaire is attached and need to be filled in and submitted with requested documents,
The technical data for the prequalification of the Rock Bits:
1. steel tooth rock bit - 23”/ IADC code 1.1.5
2. steel tooth rock bit - 17 ½”/ IADC code 1.1.5
3. steel tooth rock bit - 12 ¼”/ IADC code 1.1.5/1.3.5
4. insert rock bit - 12 ¼”/ IADC code 4.3.7
5. insert rock bit - 8 ½”/ IADC code 4.3.7
6. insert rock bit - 8 ½”/ IADC code 5.1.7
The technical requirements:
1. All rock bit shall be three cone with normal circulation (regular) type
2. Rock-bits shall be delivered in their original packages.
Diameter, IADC code, serial no and size shall have been marked originally on connection using the carving method.
