Scope of Work:
PDO intend to expand existing Qarn Alam Power Station by executing Phase 3 (QAPS3) at Qarn Alam. Qarn Alam is located approx. 300 kms South East of Muscat. The QAPS3 shall consist of one frame 9E Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) package (126MW ISO rating) and one Heat Recovery Steam Generation (HRSG) package. Gas Turbine Generator Package (GTG) including GTG auxiliaries equipment like LO systems, mark-6 etc as well as HRSG package will be procured by PDO & free issued to the EPC contractor to install & commission.
The scope of the work includes (but not limited to) Engineering, Procurement, Installation & commissioning of an integrated power station at Qarn Alam consisting of gas treatment plant, control & automation (DCS, IPS etc.), piping, civil activities, step-up transformers (1x140MVA-15/132kV), medium and low voltage transformers (15MVA etc.), associated high & low voltage switchgears, balance of Plant equipment for HRSG, as built drawing and training of key PDO staff on specific equipments.
