Scope of Work:
The following is the minimum scope of services that KOC anticipates to assign to the pre-qualified contractors under Internal Corrosion Monitoring Services contract:
A- The Services comprises of provision of Internal Corrosion Monitoring Services that are divided as follow:
1- Installation and retrieval of internal corrosion monitoring devices and equipment.
2- Fluid & chemical sampling and analysis services.
3- Data collection, analysis and storage.
4- Internal corrosion control services.
5- Maintenance services.
6- Inventory services.
7- Supply of materials
B- The services shall include the provision of a professional team of experts specialized in the internal corrosion management and control services with the required transport, equipment and instruments, software, tools kits, mobile telephones, computers and the like to carry out the Service associated with the company’s wellheads, pipelines, gathering centers, booster stations, water treatment and water injection plant and the like, throughout the state of Kuwait (the major part of which are located in remote desert areas).

Presently, the company’s facilities are divided into five areas, which comprise the followings together with their associated wells, transit lines and flow lines.
Area 1:
South Kuwait: Gathering Centers (GCs) 03, 04, 06, 07, 08, 21 and Booster Stations (BSs) 140 and 150.
Area 2:
East Kuwait: GCs 01, 02, 09, 10, 11, 19, 20, and 22
Effluent Water Disposal Plant-I
Effluent Water Disposal Plant-II
Area 3:
North Kuwait: GCs 15, 23, 25, and BS 170
Seawater Treatment Plant (SWTP)
Central Seawater Injection Plant Facility (CIPF)
Early Production Facility
Area 4:
West Kuwait: GCs 16, 17, 28, 28, and BS 170
Minagish Water Injection Plant (MWIP)
Area 5:
North and South Tanks Farms
Transit pipelines

Associated Wells: Approximate total number of 2000 with associated flow lines of more than 100,000 km in length.
