Scope of Work
The company calls for the deployment of 39 Km length triple core razor wire fence, in parallel and 5 m apart from the external side of the existing fences at eight the company sites (Fidda, Hakim, Zella, Sabah, NC29C, 103A,103D, Km 108).This 5 m strip is intended to be utilised as access patrol road. For the erection of the razor wire, steel pegs are required to be embedded on the ground every 5 m.
The proposed fence alignment will cross a significant number of exposed flow lines. For purposes related with the deployment of the razor wire and the formation of the access road, earth ramps will be formed to cross these lines. The covered sections of the pipe lines will be cathodic protected.
In some locations, at the external side of the fences, there is debris, low hips of soil or bound walls running parallel and perpendicular to the existing chain link fences. These will be removed and level. It is anticipated that at all locations, for each existing gate along the fence, a corresponding gate will be installed in the new razor wire fence.
