Scope of Work
The company invites interested and pre qualified companies for this tender opportunity to supply one (1) complete assembly of submersible seawater lift pump and refurbishment of one (1)complete unit of submersible seawater lift pump.
Scope of Work for the Provision of Refurbishment of the Seawater Lift Pump The scope of work consists of activities required to accomplish, as a minimum, the procurement and supply of one (1) complete assembly of WEIR/CLYDE UNION PUMP comprising:
• PUMP END (MODEL NO: SBWM 970 D; DESIGN FLOWRATE: 3707 cubic metres per hour; SERIAL NO: AA00207-001/03; SECTIONAL DRAWING: A0-118391).
• SUBMERSIBLE MOTOR (MODEL NO: U660-8X3; FRAME SIZE: U6608; SERIAL NO: AA00207-401/03; SECTIONAL DRAWING: A0-118409; MATERIALS OF CONSTRUCTION: AB2) with 50 metres of electric cable. And Refurbishment of one (1) complete assembly of WEIR/CLYDE UNION PUMP comprising:
• PUMP END (MODEL NO: SBWM 970 D; DESIGN FLOWRATE: 3707 cubic metres per hour; SERIAL NO: AA00207-001/03; SECTIONAL DRAWING: A0-118391).
• SUBMERSIBLE MOTOR (MODEL NO: U660-8X3; FRAME SIZE: U6608; SERIAL NO: AA00207-401/03; SECTIONAL DRAWING: A0-118409; MATERIALS OF CONSTRUCTION: AB2) with 50 metres of electric cable. It shall involve the following activities/task but not limited to:
a. Handling of all required logistics involved in conveying the vessels from the original producer and delivery of same to the company DDP ONNE. This would involve, transportation, loading and offloading etc. Note that Supplier procedure for transportation of consignment shall conform to that of both the original producer and the company standards. Contractor also has obligation of duty of care, as Contractor shall be liable for any deformation or distortion of the consignment or its function as a result of transportation.
b. Supplier is expected to have technical capability to understand and appreciate the specifications of the equipment. The Supplier shall have a strategy to ensure that the required specifications of equipment are met, this may include procedure for Factory Acceptance Test, Certifications and evidences (as applicable) and as provided by the company, the manufacturer or a third party etc. Note that Supplier shall involve the company in all its activities at all stages, with adequate notice.
c. Supplier shall secure Manufacturer's Guarantee/Warrantee (as applicable) for the equipment and convey same to the company along with the Gearbox.
d. Supplier shall obtain all documentation, operating manuals, statutory and regulatory certifications, as-built dossier and all relevant packages/softwares as supplied by OEM and as required by the company in English.
e. Supplier shall secure any and all such financing and make all payments to OEM required to transfer the material(s) to the company DDP ONNE.
f. Supplier shall show verifiable evidence of access to genuine manufacturer's spares, repair workshops/ facilities suitable for overhaul, testing and storage of the pump during repair and should be capable to provide packaging suitable for lon1g term storage of the pump in the tropics.
g. Supplier shall notify the company in good time to witness the Factory Acceptance Test(s). Note that all procedure shall conform to the company's standards.
