Scope of Work
The company announces its need for engineering, procurement, supply and delivery, construction, commissioning and start-up services for the company building gas pipeline and PRMS Project for all disciplines and activities including but not limited to: pipeline installation, Pressure Reduction And Metering Station (PRMS ) and Tie –in point ( Hot-Tap technique) with existing facilities for all required activities but not limited to: civil, survey, soil investigation, structural, mechanical, instrumentation, electrical, control, telecommunication, Cathodic protection ,pre-commissioning ,commissioning , start-up activities and utility systems …etc in addition to any activity required to make the system functioned based on the Turn key job basis.
The Project includes but not limited to the following:
1- Construction of 6" Gas pipeline about /2/Two km length extends from the existing Katteinh –Homs refinery pipeline as of definite point at the refinery's fence to the new small PR&MS near the new company building
2- PRMS: which will be constructed inside the fence of new company building to supply it with gas. This PRMS shall be mainly consisted of two Trains (2X100%), one in operation and the other standby.
Each train shall include an independent meter runs. Each run shall contain:
- Fast acting Slam Shutdown Valve (SSV) at the Inlet.
- Filter Separator.
- Turbine flow meter at the outlet (including Flow Computers)
- PLC system for control and safeguard to protect the facilities in any abnormal condition.
- Electrical Heater.
- One pressure reduction stage through self containing pressure control valves (PCV), with all related piping, instrumentation , valves …etc "
- Fast acting Slam Shutdown Valve (SSV) or (SDV) at the outlet.
- All kinds of required utility systems.
- Etc. and all associated piping, valves, instrumentation, civil work, fencing, electrical and spare parts...etc
To be handed over to the company safe and operable project as per
RFQ requirements, and international codes, standards and specification.
Standardization:
The specification and selection of equipment and materials will be done in such a manner that the variety of manufacturers and types is reduced where possible. The aim is to select a single manufacture for similar groups of equipment, such as electric motors, pumps, instruments, mechanical seals, etc. These items will be, as and where possible, in accordance with equipment already in use by company in its existing gas facilities. All equipment selected must be of simple and robust construction and shall be designed as per specifications, codes and standards specified in, RFQ
Safety objectives:
Recognized codes, standards and procedures for the design and construction of the plant and specifications of equipment shall be applied and complied with:
A target of zero lost time incident during the construction and commissioning phase. Safety critical activities and hazards are to be identified during the bid period and safety management system to achieve the above objectives together with management system to quality assure safety activities are to be submitted as a part of Bidders bid.
