Supply of Turboexpanders

Scope of Work
Delivery of turboexpanders for the due point setting unit within the Gas Treatment Unit.

The number of units to be supplied — four (the number of units may be increased to six).
The unit will be installed in the area of Teriberka, Kola region, Murmansk oblast’.
The unit shall be installed in the building with the operating temperature 5-45°C (to be specified by manufacturer).

Each turboexpander shall include as follows:

A turbine and a compressor installed on a common rotor;

Turbine and compressor piping complete with valves and protective filters;

Rotor magnetic levitation system;

Instrumentation and controls;

Unit automatic control system capable of starting/stopping and operating the unit under the specified temperature conditions;

The turboexpander unit’s capacity at the nominal mode shall be 14 Mm³/d at standard conditions. The gas inlet normal operating pressure — 5.7 MPa, temperature — minus 5 °C, efficiency at the nominal mode of operation shall be not less than 80%.

The unit shall provide the normal stable operation in the range of 70 to 110% of the nominal capacity at the efficiency decrease of no more than 10%.

Service life — not less than 30 years with a possibility of further extension;

The proposed equipment shall be confirmed by its proved operation at the gas industry facilities.
