Scope of Work
Provision of 2 Nos of Dewatering Pumps with operating crew (2 nos operator cum technician) to the Company. The Pumps shall be used for the dewatering of on-spec irrigation water within designated areas as to be decided by the company representative.
Mobilize equipment, tools and qualified manpower necessary to perform scope of work, and de-mobilize after successful completion of the services.
The services required under this contract shall be on call-off basis. The Contractor shall deploy the dewatering pumps with the full accompaniment of the operating crew, after receiving a notification from the company. Contractor guarantees the availability to mobilize the manpower and equipment ready to depart within 24hours from the reception of a written notice, provided that the notice is duly given to the Contractor. The written notice may be in the format of an e-mail, fax or letter. This service is to be available 365 days per year. Consequently, payment under this contract shall only be done on the basis of verified actual value of work done.
Pump Operator cum Technician will be performing party to carry out the job.
The Contractor personnel and operating crew for the dewatering pumps shall report to the Shift Supervisor Utilities on arrival at RG site and will operate the requested pumps strictly in accordance with the instruction given by the Shift Supervisor or his Authorized Representative.
For the purpose of the proposed contract, the normal Working days shall be from Saturday to Thursday, and Normal Working Hours shall be from 7:00am to 6:00pm. However, the Company may require the Services outside Normal Working Days/hours, i.e. on Friday, Holidays and at extended hours beyond Normal Working Hours. Overtime rates shall be applied only for the Technician and the normal rates shall be deemed to apply for the rental equipment in the event that the Service is obtained outside of the Normal Working Day or Hour.

Contractor to Provide:
Contractor’s responsibility in respect of performance of Works under this Contract will include, but not be limited to, the following:-
The Contractor shall provide all fuel and lubrication necessary for the Dewatering Pumps to carry out the Services.
The maintenance of the pumps at all times shall be the responsibility of the Contractor.
If at any time during the Contract period, the Pumps are deemed unfit for any reason whatsoever, then the Contract shall provide a substitute Pump on the same day.
The Contractor shall provide fully qualified and experienced operators with the Dewatering Pumps, who shall at all times abide by all the instructions and regulations of the Company including the company PTW requirements. In case any operator is deemed unfit or violates Company’s instructions, the Company may request the Contractor to replace this operator without any additional cost to Company.
Provision of valid commercial visa or residence permit, driving license, admission badges and other mandatory authorizations of Government or local bodies that may from time to time be required. Note: Documents for all Personnel nominated by the Contractor shall be valid for the entire duration of the work.
Provision of both normal and emergency medical treatment.
Provision of both personnel and vehicle security pass.
Provision of transport to and from and within RasLaffan site.
Contractor shall provide all personnel performing the work with all protective clothing and safety equipment confirming to the company safety standards. The minimum requirement is Hard hat, Safety Glasses (both clear and Tinted), Gloves, Safety Shoes/Boots and long sleeves Fire Retardant (Nomex) coveralls with contractor company logo clearly and visibly emblazoned at the back.
Should Company identify any personnel unacceptable the Contractor shall replace such personnel at no cost to Company.
Contractor shall not transfer, remove or replace any of this personnel engaged in the Works without the prior written approval to Company.
Contractor’s personnel shall not leave the area of the site during working hours without prior written approval of the Company Representative.
Company to Provide:
MSDS (Material Safety Data sheet)
Assistance in obtaining gate passes.
Safety induction Trainings.
Duration of the Contract
The contract duration shall be for a period of Two (2) Years, from the date of commencement.
