Scope of Work
The purpose of this Contract is to provide the company with the operation and maintenance Support services of irrigation sprinkler system for the company Facilities.
The Services of the Contractor are required for work located outside the RLIC main gate, this area is called the buffer zone and the company has laid the irrigation pipe line to be used in the Sprinkler Irrigation System for watering the plantation.
The Scope of Services shall include, but not necessarily be limited to the followings:
Contractor shall provide a team of two (2) skilled , competent & qualified technicians having basic plumbing and gardening skills with an experience of 3 years or more, to perform the Scope of Services.
The components of the work are: - To operate the Sprinkler Irrigation Water System including Valves and Controls 7 days a week throughout the year. - To maintain the facility (repair the wear and tear) - To replace any damaged parts and sprinkler pipe line. - Co ordination with operation team and the company supervisor for the Buffer zone. - To provide the monthly Report mentioning the parts replaced.
Contractor should be able to carryout any onsite repair activities arising out of any such situations including replacement of items damaged due to wear and tear. Contractor shall replace only the damaged parts which need replacement.
Contractor to quote the spare parts on a unit rate basis. For all items supplied and replaced contractor to obtain the company representative prior approval and also signatures on the delivery notes or completion certificates.
The Contractor shall provide a proper transportation and Tools for the personnel throughout the period.
Company reserves the right to reschedule the crew based on the need as well as requirement, at company’s end.
Contractor shall be able to supply the reports and any out of scope requirement to the zone supervisor well in advance.
Spare Parts: Supplied fittings should confirm to ASTM D 2466 and pvc pipes ASTM D 1785 Standards or equivalent, and all having a minimum warranty of 8 months or more. Brand of valves should be standard and compliant. Gate valve is Pegler make. Any non-compliant brands shall be rejected.

The above mentioned are the major spare parts list known and the company reserves the right to ask for additional spares related to the job.
Contract Duration: The term of the Contract is for two (2) years initially with the option to extend on same terms and conditions for further up to two (2) years. The Contract can be extended in phases of one (1) year each as desired by the Company. The Effective Date shall be the date of issue of the Letter of Award.
