Scope of Work
Supply of cooling tower for asphalt unit / THI-QAR refinery
Asphalt unit THI-QAR Refinery request package two cells cooling tower of specification as below:
Circulation water capacity 500m³/hr
Relative humidity 30%-60%
Difference between inlet & outlet temp. 13C°
Wet bulb temp. 28C°
Drift Losses 0.1% of circulation capacity
Evaporation Losses 1.9% of circulation capacity
No. of cells 2, capacity of each Is 250 m³ /hr
Ambient temp. 55C°(Max.) & -6.5C°(Min.)
The structure should be c/s coated with resistant material of chemicals or galvanized steel.
All pipes and interconnections should be c/s
All hydraulic connections, considering the battery limit water inlet and outlet flanges
Civil engineering, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering included
Three main pumps, two in operation & the third stand by, the capacity of each is 250 m³/hr, Head 70m.
Two pumps for make up, one in duty & the other is stand by.
Skid for chemical dosing pumps supplied with dosing tanks sufficient for 24 working hours, two pumps for each material, one in duty & the other is stand by.
