Scope of Work
Supply of Brine Filtration Services (Product/Service Category 3.04.15 Drilling Fluids/Mud Services)
Contractor will supply on the rig site completion/work-over brine filtration services. Contractor shall provide qualified personnel and filtration units capable of processing brines at sustained rate of 12 bpm each (24 bpm total) through diatomaceous earth (DE) filter presses in series with 2 micron (beta =2000) dual cartridge filter pods to <20 NTU using turbidity meter.
The DE units shall have the ability to regenerate while online. The dual cartridge units shall have a wash out drain and be capable of handling sustained flow rates greater than the DE units. Contractor shall have adequate equipment and qualified personnel to provide engineering services, adequate equipment shall include back-up equipment for use during periods of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
Contractor shall supply all ancillary equipment required to filter dirty brine from the rig mud pit system and return clean brine to rig mud pit system.
