Cathodic Protection Transformer Rectifiers
Reference: 66/2010/C 9/9/2012, Location: Middle East
Category: Transformers

Scope of Work
Quantity: 20 units
Descripition:
1- input A.C: 220-250 V. single phase. 50 HZ
2- Output D.C, 60 volt / 60 amps
3- type: outdoor plinth mounting suitable for operation in hazardous areas
For: EX, zone 2 with IP 255 degree of protection
4- Cooling: oil immersed natural convection cooled
5- ambient temperature for outdoor operation from – 10C' up to + 50C' (shade temperature).
6- Control : D.C output voltage variable from 0 up to 100% of 3 number 4 position switches ( coarse, medium, fine) giving control over the normal range.
7- Protection
A- A.C input Fuse
B- D.C output fuse
C- Rectifier fuse
D- Transient over voltage surge suppression
f- All the live components (all parts which may be result explosion) inside oil tank are always under the oil column
G- If due to oil leakage or any other reason the oil level in the tank goes down then a built – in oil level sensing device automatically trips the unit when oil column thickness above the live components becomes less than minimum 20 mm.
H- An indicator contiously indicates the temperature to the oil in side the tank if the oil temperature increase between (80-90) C' then the unit will be trip automatically.
I- all the controls and indication components and the meters outside (oil tank and will be fixed in box behind lockable front contains toughened and robust plexiglass window for viewing the meters and will be fitted in weather proof and against explosion EX, Zone 2 IP>= 55
J - Paint finish: all external surface and internal surface of the air filled chambers are protected against corrosion for long term operation in exterior expose polluted atmosphere.

8- Transformers: T1 variable auto transformer
T2 main rectifier transformer with double wound and a variable primary voltage of 0 UP to 220-250 v
9- Other features:
A- D.C voltmeter
B- D.C ammeter
C- Oil level gauge
D- Inclusive the oil quantity is required
E- Oil thermometer indicator
