Scope of Work
Supply of fire fighting trucks as spceified below:
Chassis :-up to date model 6x4 TGS , not less than 380HP, 4-stroke diesel engine with turbo charger and charge air cooler,6 cylinders in line, manual gear box, 16 speed manual
P.T.O :suitable for fire pump operation. Tyres: front:-single 385/65 R 22,5
Rear:-double 315/ 80 R 22,5 . Steering: left side, hydraulic power assisted .fuel tank 300L Cooling system : water with heavy duty radiation. Bumper: heavy duty front bumper with
central towing pin.
Cabinet :-MAN / Rosenbauer forward control four door tilt cabin in steel/glass fiber reinforced polyester construction, with hydraulic tilting mechanism, for crew of 6 fully equipped fire fighters .the cab is adequately insulated against noise, vibration and extreme
temperatures Four lockable doors, with rool - down windows. All seats are fitted with safety or seat belts. The dish board is equipped with all necessary gauges, pilot lamps and switches for operation(MAN standard). MAN standard air condition in cowl is fitted.
Brakes:-service brake :Dual-circuit compressed air brakes, self adjusting, compressed air dryer. Brake system with anti-lock brake system (ABS). Batters: Number 2, voltage and
capacity: 12 v, 175 Ah. Miscellaneous: One spare wheel assembly, one set of wheel changing tools, one hydraulic jack 20 tons and a tool kit will be delivered with the Water Tank with capacity 10000 liters (use able) it is made of glass fibre reinforced polyester
(GRP)10 to 14 mm thick ,which is absolutely corrosion proof.
