Scope of Work
Supply of complete horizontal screw pump with turbine and base plate
Item 001 QTY=1, Pump with operating conditions for pumps:
Service: blend asphalt -heavy slop
Pump type: screw
Capacity: 50 igpm - 13.5 m3/hr
Differential pressure: 200 psig
Suction pressure: opsig
Discharge pressure 200 psig
Temperature: 120- 150c°

Specific gravity: 1.02-1.04 at pt
Viscosity: 200-1500mm2/s

I-pump manufacture according to API 676 latest editions.
2- single mechanical seal shall be according to API 682 and from the following (John
crane or eagle Bourgmann, Flow Serve)
3- pump should be equipped with safety valve, fitted on the pump
4- flexible spacer coupling between pump and turbine dynamically balanced
5- non - sparking coupling guard material
6- fabricated steel base plate
7- standard documents including installation, operation and maintenance manuals in
English ( three hard copy and one CD format the documents shall be original ).
8- pumps origin shall be from (USA, West Europe, Japan, Canada, Australia, India, South Korea)
9-pump shall be manufacture with replaceable internal liner
10-pump shall provide with steam jacket.
Item 002 Steam turbine
1. Turbine shall be in between bearing design
2. Turbine should be back pressure design
3. Turbine radial bearing shall be sleeve type with antifriction ball bearing for thrust
4. Bearing should be ring lubricated type water cooled with water specification 3 bar
35 C°
5. Governor shall be WoodWard TG- type
6. Turbine shall be manufacture completely according to API 611 last addition
7. Carbon ring floating sealing ring for both side
8. Turbine shall be furnished with tachometer mechanical + electrical
9. Adequate cooler
10.Turbine power shall be 20% more than pump rated power
I1.Turbine casing shall be of material code steel with sentinel valve warning
12.Testing and balancing should be according to API
13.Noise level shall be less than 85 dB at 1 meter from the turbine
14.Turbine shall be horizontal split design
15.Turbine inlet should be furnished with strainer
16.Turbine shall be furnished with mechanical over speed trip
17.Turbine shall be manufactured byone of the venders (Dresser-Rand, Elliott )
18.Steam condition:
