Scope of Work
EPIC fOR upgrade of turbine control systems aT PS-2, PS-3 AND HALUL; The existing Mark-2 turbine control panels on Siemens power generators at PS-2, PS-3 and Halul are declared obsolete by year 2013 as per OEM (Siemens).
The objective is to upgrade these panels to Siemens SIMATIC S7-400F/FH based control panels. In addition to the relocation of ECU's and the associated Junction boxes on seven ( 7) DLE power generators (i.e. Tempests and Typhoon) to be outside turbine enclosure. Also upgrade to Bently Nevaa 3500 series. Tentative Start date: 01/10/2014 Duration: 30 months.
