Scope of Work
Akakus Oil Operations invites interested local & foreign companies who are registered in Libya and consider themselves qualified to execute the following project; EPC for Remote Cathodic Protection Monitoring & Control System for 30'' Main Transmission Oil line at El-Sharara Field
Companies who wish to participate are required to contact the Secretariat of Akakus Oil Operations Bid Committee, at the main Office in Tripoli to collect the tender document.
Project Brief:
“Cathodic protection of 30” Main Transmission Oil Line ( ~723 km) is provided via an impressed current system, consisting of 10 No. Solar powered units with a support structure, electronic controller, cathodic protection output unit, battery bank, system cabling. Because of the enormous importance of 30” Main Transmission Oil Line for the transport of produced crude, its reliable operation, and with regard to it’s flow through a difficult accessible regions, we consider that the installation of RMCUs provides multiple benefits for the 30” Main Transmission Oil Line.
These units can automatically monitor CP systems from a single desktop computer which can be located anywhere, and minimize the amount of time required for CP system evaluation”
Qualification Requirements:
Interested companies for this tender must satisfy the requirements stated in the scope of work and should submit the formal request to the below mentioned address which should clearly indicate the name of the company, address, phone number, person to contact and its title, an email address and stating clearly their intention and interest to participate.
The following documents are required:
·A copy of the Company’s Commercial Registeration (Valid).
· A copy of a valid License to Run Business.
·A copy of a valid certificate proving payment of tax.
·Financial position of the Company for the last three years. Copy of the Authorization given by the Ministry for Economy and Trade to carry out Business in Libya (for Foreign Companies Only).
·A Prove of Ability & Experience to carry out the required work.
Participation:
This announcement will remain posted on the National Oil Cooperation websites until 12:00 hrs local time, 30/04/2014. Accordingly, tender documents can be collected within the week days (Sunday-Thursday) during working hours (09:00 A.M to 13:00 P.M) as from: Sunday April 20t , 2014 until Thursday May 01st, 2014.
BID SUBMISSION RULES:
- Bids must be in full compliance with the tender specifications and conditions provided with it. Any bids not in compliance will be ignored.
- Bids must be submitted in two separate well sealed envelopes and stamped by the Company’s official stamp. The project title & project reference number must be written on both envelops.
- The first envelop contains the Technical offer (1 Original + 2 Copies + One CD) and the Un-priced Commercial Tender (1 Original )
- The second envelope contains the Commercial offer (1 Original+ 1 copy).
Bids must be delivered to the AOO Bid Committee Secretary on Monday 30th June 2014 at 12:00 noon, any bids arrived after the bid closing date will be rejected.
