Scope of Work
After the RAG arrives from respective stations in Khatiyah, Fahahil and Jaleha sectors, via 24? and 20? headers, it is directed to the slug catcher V-1136 located at FSP (Fahahil Stripping Plant) where any slugs of liquid present in the gas are further separated.
The gas from the slug catcher is sent to the inlet scrubbers of the Booster Compressor K-1101 / K-1101S. The presence of solids in this gas stream makes it imperative to install the solid filtration system at upstream of the gas inlet scrubbers of the Booster compressors.
A liquid filtration unit for the bottom HC liquid product of V1136 is to be investigated also, to eliminate the fine solids carried over with the accumulated condensate before sending to either FMDS 2nd stage separator for further processing or recycled back to process through drains vessel.
As an interim measure, subject to implementation of approved recommendation from this study ,an alternative destination of this condensate is also kept in FSP to route this entire condensate to existing burn pit that will be eventually demolished per MoE guideline to eliminate all burnpits around Dukhan. Till such time, as a short term basis, the existing burnpit in FSP shall be used only for emergency purposes.
Additionally, FSP operation has experienced operational upsets which affect plant operations. These operational upsets that need to be mitigated are described below which form part of this project scope of works.
