Scope of Work
Oman refinery has over 400 number LV motors of 415 Volts rating starting from Fractional Horsepower motor to 175 kW. It is intended to carryout overhaul & rewinding of the LV motors rating as needed by the plant (depending upon the failure of the motor) through a competent vendor.
It is also intended to carryout overhaul and/or rewinding of DC motors of 24 Volts as a part of the contract.
This is an open type contract for three years and there is no guarantees of the numbers of motors being offered for repair/overhauling of the motors.
For LV motors the jobs are included in the scope of work but the exact nature of work will be based on the nature of the fault with individual motor:
- Overhauling including the replacement of the bearings
- Stator cleaning
- Stator baking/dry out.
- Rotor Cleaning
- Stator rewinding
- Repair to the Leads as per the requirement
- Painting after grit blasting
