Scope of Work
The Project objective is to dismantle/demolish existing obsolete emergency Diesel Engine Driven Instrument Air Compressor (K-3201E) and Install new Diesel Engine Driven Instrument Air Compressor -IAC Package (K-3203) with capacity of 1230 Sm3/Hr on the same location of existing Compressor. The proposed new IAC Package (K-3203) to be stand alone skid mounted, horizontal rotary (screw) type, dry (oil-free), consisting of intercooler, after-cooler, dirt pre-filters, pre-filters, carbon filters, heatless desiccant type air dryers (twin vessel adsorption type) and instrument air after filters, as a minimum. The cooling system for inter stage and discharge of new compressor to be provided by air fan coolers and Instrument Air to be delivering to the header via new Air Receiver.
The proposed new IAC Package to be operated with discharge pressure of 9.5 barg in order to deliver IA to NGL-4 Plant. This pressure is higher than operating pressure of other three (3) plants (NGL1/2/3) and therefore Six (6) inch pipe for Instrument Air header to be installed from NGL1/2 to NGL-3/4 at 9.5 barg. New Instrument Air piping arrangement between NGL-1, 2,3 & 4 Plants to be installed with connections to existing Instrument Air Compressor's piping network.
