Scope of Work
Maintenance of fibre optic cables for telecom network on call-off basis in dukhan.
QP oil fields at Dukhan has extensive fibre optic cable network with optical cables laid under ground as well as overhead covering a length of approximately 700 Km.
The scope of Services includes: Inspection and testing of the fibre cables for locating the cable cuts; Splicing of the optical fibre cable for both underground and OPGW cut cable locations; Testing the fibre cables (end to end) and testing with OTDR; Replacement of sections of OPGW cables; Fibre termination on wall and rack mounted path panels; Provision of Joint enclosures, Wall mounted patch panels and Rack mounted patch panels.
