Scope of Work
Supply of services for inspection of electrical equipment in hazardous areas within terminal and export department, Mesaieed. The electrical equipment installed in hazardous areas are required to be inspected regularly by a qualified inspector. This inspection is important to ensure that the installed electrical equipment continue to be safe to operate in hazardous areas.
This practice will lead to the improvement of personnel and plant safety. The majority of installed electrical equipment in hazardous areas is of the type Exd, Exi, Exm, Exn and Exe that are installed in zone 0, zone 1 and zone 2 areas of an oil and gas plant. These equipment are installed in locations subject to corrosion, vibration and or other adverse environment.
