Scope of Work
Rurchasing specifications of (oxygen scavenger) - 7780 or equivalent
1- A volatile alkalizing oxygen scavenger for both water and steam.
2- It should facilitate passivation of the metal surface inside the cylindrical shell.
3- It should contain no hydrazine.
4- It must be stable at high temperatures.
5- Dosing rate to be defined for oxygen removal from about 0.15 ppm to 0.007 ppm.
6- Shelf life of the product should be stated.
7- It must have been field tested in our plants successfully.
8- Lab procedures and necessary chemical reagents and apparatus for determining oxygen contene and the residual of the product in the samples, must be offered.
