Feasibility Study for Pipeline Network

Scope of Work
The scope of the assignment shall cover the following tasks: 1) Undertake market mapping in the following regions with a view of selecting the optimal Depot locations : Mount / Upper Eastern Region, Lower Eastern/ Upper Coast Region, South Rift Region, South Nyanza Region, Western Region.

2) Conduct Market Survey to determine the current and projected demand of petroleum products in the proposed regions.

3) Carry out a financial, economic and social analysis to establish the viability of devolving the
pipeline network to the counties.

4) Determine the least cost route of the pipelines to the regions and T-off points from the existing pipeline network.

5) Undertake Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Studies in the proposed regions.

6) Develop Preliminary Engineering Designs (PEDs) which will include but is not limited to Hydraulic Analysis, determination of optimal pipeline sizes, depot capacity and other associated infrastructure.
