Scope of Work
The company bids for Engineering Design, Procurement and Construction (EPC), Testing and Commissioning of security and surveillance facilities at the company.
The project scope shall include the following:-
- Design, Procurement and Construction, testing and commissioning of a Security and Surveillance system at;
a. Nairobi Terminal/HQ entrance along Sekondi Road - The systems
should include supply and installation of Traffic Barriers,
Retracting Bollards, Under Vehicle Inspection System, Automatic Number Plate Recognition System with driver image capture, Baggage scanners, Outdoor Walk-through Metal detectors, Turnstiles and an Integrated Access Control System.
b. PS14 located at Kipevu in Mombasa These systems should include supply and installation of Heavy Duty Retracting Bollards, Permanent Heavy Duty Protective Bollards, Under vehicle Inspection System, Speed bumps, Automatic number plate recognition system, driver image capture, Baggage scanners, Outdoor Walk-through Metal detectors, Turnstiles and Integrated Access Control System.
- Construction of a gatehouse and all attendant facilities along Sekondi Rd. and PS 14 entrance from where the new systems will be controlled.
- Carrying out Environmental and Social Impact Assessment and obtain
NEMA approvals
- Installation of Local Area Network (LAN).
- Seeking of all necessary statutory approvals and permits.
- Attendance of defects during maintenance period.
-Supply, installation and commissioning of a fibre optic cable.
- Supply, installation and commissioning of an armoured 3 core power cable c/w with ducting and trenching.
- Training of Client’s staff.
- Provide documentation required for operating and maintaining the
project.
- Provide 2 years Spare parts and maintenance tools.
- Provide calibration tools.
- Provide all as built drawings and documentation for entire system.
