Scope of Work
The company bids for breaking up (unscrewing) and transportation of tubings from work over and drilling wells to OCS-5 (c & w/o yard)/any other location specified by the company for a period of 2 (two) years and with a provision of extension by another 1 (one) year.
The contractor has to unscrew 73 mm (2 7/8") O.D. API Externally Upset End (EUE)/Non Upset End (NUE) Production tubings supplied normally in doubles (i.e. two joints screwed together) into single tubings at the threaded joints in the respective well sites within Assam & Arunachal Pradesh fields using proper tubing tongs only and then to transport these tubings to Commissioning & Work over yard of OCS-5 complex/ any other locations as per advice of Company Engineer.
i) Tubing specification: a. Tubing: Screwed and Coupled API tubing. b. Average length of the tubing = 10 meter c. Weight of tubing = 6.5 lb/feet d. Tubing O.D=2.441 I Inches e. Avg. wt of waxed up tubing = 12 kg/meter
ii) Thread protectors should have to be fitted on the threaded ends before transporting to OCS-5 (C&W/O yard/ any other location) in order to prevent thread damage. Thread protectors will be supplied by OIL.
iii) Calculation of Tone Km = No. of tubing x 10.0 mtr. X 12 kg/meter x distance in KM (one way)/ 1000
