Scope of Work
The tender for Call – Off Contract for Supply of Services (Repair/Rewinding/Overhauling
of LV Electrical Motors of all existing & upcoming plants of the company)
The Scope of Work for the tender includes the following:-
- Contractor shall collect the motor(s) from the company Workshop at Sohar/Muscat/Raysut in accordance with item 5 (Response Time & Working Hours) upon receipt of Notification from the company and transport the motor(s) to the Contractors Workshop.
- Upon receipt at Contractor’s Workshop, Contractor shall safely perform unloading, servicing, overhauling, rewinding/repair of the motor or submersible motor-pump and perform all the related activities as required:
? Preliminary inspection of motor and its components
? Stripping and Cleaning
? Overhauling including the replacement of bearings
? Rewinding and application of insulating varnish
? Stator cleaning
? Stator baking/dry out.
? Rotor Cleaning
? Stator rewinding
? Repair to the Leads as per the requirement
? Repairing and Parts Replacement
? Balancing
? Reassembling & Testing
? Painting after grit blasting
? Preparation & Submission of Reports
The scope includes works and services pertaining to Servicing, Overhauling and Rewinding of:
- Low voltage (LV) electrical motors suitable for safe/hazardous areas application of different rating, make and type
- Sanitary water (Sewer) submersible motor-pumps (ESP)
These are installed across the company’s existing & upcoming facilities at Sohar, Muscat, Raysut and any other locations in the country. The scope shall also include craft / technical support inclusive of tools and tackles to execute the pertaining to Servicing job at the company facilities in accordance with the scope of work as-and-when required on call basis for a period of three (3) years from the effective
date of Contract.
