Provision of Freight Forwarding Services

Scope of Work
The company bids for the provision of freight forwarding & customs clearance services.
The Services to be provided shall include the following:-
- Preparation and processing of all required documentation
- Obtaining most cost-effective shipping arrangements through international partners
- Space reservation and booking of cargo
- Field expediting/desk expediting
- Calling forward of goods
- Visual check of goods at the departure/arrival and liaise damage report (if any)
- Consolidation and warehousing at origin with international partner & at Muscat
- Pre-carriage transportation of the goods to the stevedore of the carrier
- Status monitoring and periodical reporting (including electronic tools)
- Unloading and receipt inspection at Muscat air/sea ports
- Customs clearance (either duty paid for low value or duty free for others)
- Insurance claim against damages
- Land transportation
- Processing re-exporting documents for Repair & Return goods.
