Scope of Work
The company complies with national requirements for providing the appropriate Tier 2 Oil Spill Response coverage for the projects for a period of 3 years. The contract will also include associated training and auditing / inspection services as detailed below:
Provision of sufficient Response Resources to enable the Company to meet the legislative Oil Spill Tier 2 requirements of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs (MECA) and any other relevant national or international laws within the area of service specified in this contract for the full contract period. This includes:
a) Supply and deployment of Response Resources required by the Company to conduct Response Activities to a Tier 2 level Response; b) Supervision and coordination of deployment and use of Response Resources (including the company contractor resources) in such manner as directed by the Company in writing. c) The training of personnel of the Company in Response Activities and maintenance of records of such training; d) Perform Oil spill Drills and exercises including deployment of Response Resources and maintenance of records of such Drills; e) Providing necessary consultations in case of oil spills incidents to assist the Company in connection with legal proceedings or for such other purposes as may be reasonably required by the Company.
