Scope of Work
The company invites bids for the provision of consultancy for preparation of ESIA/Project Report for a specific period.
The scope of work includes the following:-
* The Consultant will, in accordance with NEMA Regulations for procuring an EIA license, prepare either a full ESIA or a Project Report as required by NEMA.
* In the event of part of the study work being performed by a subcontractor, the name of the sub-contractor shall be disclosed as well as the service provided and the value of the sub contract and this shall meet the NEMA regulations.
* The company will provide a contact person for the duration of the work and will arrange for the required Safety Permits and/or Clearances.
* The Consultant will provide or arrange and bear the costs thereof for the following: (a) The approved resource persons for preparation of the ESIA or Project Report. (b) The required Personal Protective Equipment for its staff on site. (c) The testing of any samples taken during the Study by a Laboratory approved by NEMA. (d) A presentation to the company on the ESIA or Project Report upon completion of the study activities. (e) The ESIA or Project Report.
